Today we triple checked the "check list" to make sure we have all the paperwork and everything packed that we will need. The US airline on international flights allow each passenger to have two bags checked in weighing less that 50lbs per bag. So technically we could take 400lbs of stuff in eight bags but I think you can imagine what kind of hassle that would be lugging around China and trying to fit into taxi's etc.
Melissa has successfully gotten everything into three bags that will be checked and each is less than 50lbs per bag. This includes toys/gifts for the orphanage so this is really a miracle. Tomorrow is our last day in the USA... we fly out first thing Wed morning!
Yesterday Mat and Beth had a going away dinner for us at Patricia and Gary's house. Luci, Daniel, Caleb, Savannah and Jeremy/Jonah were there. It was nice to spend time together before going out of town.
