Home, day 1

Melissa let Emma and daddy sleep in a little late.  Lily dressed her up in a little princess outfit and they are cruising around on a cute little car that my friend Melanie got her.  Last night me and Jonah went by Albertsons (new rant brewing for self checkout only option for buying food after 29 hour travel day).  We got watermelon and fresh fruit etc.  This morning Emma had fresh eggs and rice made by chef mom and of course fresh watermelon.  Jeremy hung out with her so she is getting to know her big brother.  He cleaned the house and made us a welcome home sign with a welcome home Emma cake.  It was great to see him and wish he could have gone on trip with us.  For others contemplating taking your kids with you we are strong proponents.  If they are young our son Jonah is ready to hire himself out for free trips to China :)

good to hear you're all settling in!! I may need your help with convincing Donnie about taking the little ones though... he is pretty set against it as he is afraid of the aditional stress. I can't believe you all are really home and all together now! congrats!!!!

Sounds like you're making it through these first days very well, cooking and everything :) We are actually glad we didn't take our kids, but we're very anxious to take them all about 5 years from now. It must feel so great to just be home.
